Returns & Refunds
Last updated: 2 October 2026
I want you to be happy with your painting. If you purchase an original artwork from my website and change your mind, you may be able to return it in accordance with the rights described below.
Change of mind
If you purchase a painting online, you generally have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the artwork, without having to give a reason.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, please email me at studio@lorettatoldi.com within those 14 days.
After telling me that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the painting.
The painting must be returned safely and in good condition. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the artwork while it is in your possession and for arranging and paying for its return, unless the artwork is faulty or was damaged before you received it.
If the value of the painting has been reduced because it has been handled more than was reasonably necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and condition, I may be entitled to make a deduction from the refund.
Refunds
Once the returned painting has been received, I will process the refund within the applicable legal timeframe.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Where the law requires it, the refund will include the cost of the original standard delivery. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, I am only required to refund the cost of the standard delivery service.
Paintings damaged in transit
Please contact me as soon as possible if your painting arrives damaged.
Please keep the original packaging and, where possible, take photographs of the artwork and packaging before disposing of anything.
I will work with you to resolve the problem and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with your legal rights.
Paintings that are faulty or not as described
Your legal rights are not affected by this policy.
Paintings must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their normal purpose. If your painting is faulty, damaged before it reached you, or significantly different from its description, please contact me at studio@lorettatoldi.com as soon as possible so that I can discuss the appropriate remedy with you.
How to request a return
Please email:
Please include:
Your name
Your order details
The name of the painting
The date you received it
The reason for your return, if you wish to provide one
I will then provide the information you need to arrange the return.
Important
This Returns & Refunds Policy does not affect any statutory rights you have under UK consumer law.
If you have any questions about returning an artwork, please contact me at studio@lorettatoldi.com.

The website and artworks are operated by Loretta Toldi.
If you have any questions about an artwork, an order or these terms, please contact me at:
2. The artworks
All paintings offered for sale are original, ready-made artworks created by me.
Each artwork is individual and may have natural variations in texture, colour, surface and finish. Colours shown on a screen may also vary slightly from the actual painting.
The photographs and descriptions on the website are intended to give you an accurate representation of each artwork.
3. Prices
The price shown on the website is the price payable for the artwork unless otherwise stated.

Your order will be confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and I have accepted the order.
You will receive confirmation of your purchase by email.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and provide photographs of the artwork and packaging where possible.
Please keep the packaging until the matter has been resolved.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights if an artwork is faulty, damaged before it reached you, or not as described.
8. Returns and cancellation
